This Writing Break

Due to excess school work and the knowledge that anything I write right now will be crap, I've been on a semester-long writing break. This has been both good and bad.

The Good:

• I've been able to keep up with my school work. Hahahaha....not really. Though I've been keeping up more than I would have if I were still writing
• I'm not squeezing in bad writing in my spare time, which means my writing isn't getting worse
• In reflecting instead of writing, I've noticed total fails in The Trace--geography fails, hairstyle fails, language fails, time lapse fails, epic fails...
• Absence makes the heart grow fonder

The Bad:

• Writing helps lower my stress level, which means that no writing = I want to kill everyone.
• I've missed writing Evolution so much that I started writing a completely different and unrelated story all over my Ancient Greece notes. And then a children's story about a worm named "Wormy" on my French Revolution notes. Which means now my brain is like, "You want me to write these things instead? Yes?" And I'm like, Noooo.

But. Guess what? As of 12:50 this afternoon on Wednesday, December 11, 2013...


I. AM. FREE.

I promise I have hair. It's just behind my head. But now I know what I would look like with a really strange pixie cut.

I'm either a terrible student or I just have terrible Senioritis, because I just want school to be over. Fortunately, I'm only taking THREE classes next semester. THREE. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT I WILL DO WITH ALL THE TIME I WILL HAVE.

Just kidding. I do know. I will write.   : )
